Our client has asked us to find a talented and ambitious Sales and Communications Executive to operate from its Winchester UK headquarters.

 

Already established in two European countries, you will be responsible for increasing order volumes for our client’s:

 

• process development & consultancy services and

• training & instrument products

 

The company, a subsidiary of a well-known and highly-respected pharmaceutical machine and process development technology distributor, operates in France and French-speaking Belgium.

 

Sales duties

 

You will be responsible for lead generation using the company’s internal databases and for the qualification of leads created through outbound marketing.

 

You will liaise with in-country Sales Directors following up leads for machinery sales which have been pre-qualified for their level of interest.

 

The company actively participates at numerous sales conferences, trade/technical exhibitions, and meetings in France. You will be responsible for booking our client’s place at these events and attending as their representative.

 

Our client holds monthly management meetings in the UK, and in France twice a year for which you will be responsible for preparing a monthly management report for other attendees.

 

Communications duties

 

The company benefits greatly from ongoing communication with existing and potential clients via LinkedIn and from active engagement with a variety of digital communication media platforms. A large part of your communications duties will be the successful maintenance of their online communication strategy.

 

In addition, you will prepare all necessary marketing materials required for exhibitions, events, and conferences, including translation when necessary. Across the territories in which our client operates, you will customise all marketing communications through close co-operation with in-country staff and within the company’s Winchester-based marketing function.

 

You’ll keep the company’s CRM system and records up to date which you’ll use, in conjunction with third-part lists, to plan email marketing campaigns.

 

Your background

 

You have a strong background in sales and you feel confident using outbound marketing techniques to generate leads which turn into strong enquiries. A technical sales process background is desirable however our client will provide you with full and effective training on your arrival.

 

You enjoy working for a small yet ambitious company where you really are a vital part of the team and where your presence is needed. 

 

Your first language will be French and/or you will have excellent spoken and written French language skills. French nationals are welcome to apply for this role.

 

Role specifics

 

Based at our client’s UK HQ in Winchester, this is a full-time permanent role paying up to £28,000 a year basic salary depending on experience. You will also receive a bonus payable when the company hits its sales and performance targets.

 

After you have successfully passed your 6-month probation period, you will also benefit from health insurance, pension contributions, and death-in-service insurance.
